The dual wavelength BR-400 is an easy to use, high performance total bilirubin meter, developed with state-of-the-art technology. Since hemolysis, is frequent in the serum of new borns,this instrument is particularly suitable for jaundice examination of infants.

Easy To Operate
The Auto-zero electronic cicuit, returns the display to zero, with just one touch of the Auto-zero button. Each sensitive adjustment for dual wavelength, is calculated with an operating circuit and provides the best result. The troublesome operation in conventional devices is eliminated.

Handles Hemolysis And Turbidity Easily
Careful selection of the dual wavelength color filters and the combination of electronic technology, minimizes the interference of hemolysis and turbidity.

Easy Insertion Of Capillary Tubes
In conventional devices, the capillary tubes containing the samples, were placed by removing the cell holder. In this device, use of a simple gauge, makes the use of the cell holder unnecessary. The capillary tube can be inserted directly.

Alarm Function Informs User Of Abnormalities
Alarm function signals either situations such as a burned out bulb or Abnormal values of concentration i.e. bilirubin concentration of 30 mg/dl or more, or hemolytic hemoglobin concentration of 250 mg/dl or more.
